The moment you step through the door, you know you're not in any ordinary antique shop. This place seems to have almost everything, and the owners say if they don't have what you're looking for, they can probably find it for you.

Browsing through all the different areas is a fun experience—a trip back in time. You are sure to see things like your grandmother had and stuff that you remember from your childhood. You just don't know what you will find as the turnover is rapid and the stock keeps changing. The shop has a kaleidoscope effect.

The proprietors have found a great variety of sterling silver items, carved ivory pieces, vintage glassware, china, clocks, oil paintings, old oil lamps, quilts, beveled glass mirrors, books, and crocks. There is a large collection of elegant depression glass along with numerous oak dressers, desks, china cabinets, and even three (at this writing) wind-up Victrolas.

A good selection of collectible Native American Indian baskets from the Passamaquoddy and Penobscot tribes are in the showcases. Some nice primitives were sighted as well as country furnishings and everything is tastefully arranged. Of course, we did have to peek and poke into some corners, but that adds to the charm of this little mall.

On hand is a nice selection of gold and diamond estate jewelry along with recently enjoyed sapphire, ruby, onyx, opal and other semi-precious stone rings. Not to mention the strand of pearls...

One or another of the owners is always on hand to help you with any "antique emergency" you might have. They can help you with identify and evaluate your antiques They don't have all the answers, of course, but most always can come pretty close. They buy whole or partial estates and are more than happy to come to your home if you have some things that you wish to sell.

Master Card and Visa are welcome, a gentle lay-away plan is offered, and they will even ship if you can't take it with you. Open year round, hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Saturday. (During July and August, hours are extended to 5 p.m.; sometimes the proprietors can be found on Sunday.)
