Downeast Directions has decided to make available five distributorships for future Discover Maine with Captain D publications.

For now, at least, these would be called "Aroostook", "Heartland", "Western Lakes & Mountains", "Mid-Coast" and "South Coast".

The idea is to have entrepreneurs in these areas do publications in conformance with Captain D's present Downeast Guide.

These publications would be supported by a massive Internet site maintained by the Captain.
